It doesn't affect my ability to be myself. It just keeps me from always thinking negatively. Valium is like a nerve pill or anti-anxiety pill that makes you feel like you've had a few glasses of wine. I only take Valium in the evening to unwind after work and I only take 1/2 of a 5 mg or at the most, a 5 mg at least 2 hours before bed. I take Lexapro for depression that runs in my family. Nor is it the case for all drugs, and many degrade or even turn toxic over time, including vitamin C. I am afraid we all have been convinced to an extent, even those in the medical field, that all drugs must degrade and become unsafe, or at least uncertain, when many do not.
